Just reached home from a mini movie marathon with my ex Sony colleagues,Didi and Lu. Marathon on a Friday is not cheap. Damn
Caught Chuck and Larry and Balls of Fury. 2 comedies in one night and I thought I will get to train some abs.
Chuck and Larry is good. It's really funny and storyline not bad either. Adam Sandler did a great job. At least it tickled us at the right bone. ' Hooray for Gays! '
On the other hand, Balls of fury is BAD. Really really really bad. I think it's a low class movie. Not even worth watching at Princess or Prince cinema. Sad case, they tried so hard to make us laugh but failed. I think the only thing to rave abt is Maggie Q. She is vavavoom HOT! The guys leaving the cinema were complaining abt the movie but were drooling over Mag Q. Ohyeah, and Hiro from Heroes had a 10s screentime and that's about it.
It's so hard to watch a good movie nowadays. Give me something big and good! Like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter!
Ended everything @ abt 3plus and Didi drove us home with his new modified car! He is quite some guy at a young age of 19. His knowledge for cars is wowww and he oversees the modification of his car all by himself and with his own money. The sound of the engine got Lu and I so high, reminds us of Initial D and Takumi! but I was kinda 怕怕 too coz that was the time when all the daredevils start lurking ard asking for a race and being young @ heart, didi found it hard to resist them!
I asked him the fastest speed he had driven and his ans made me hold on to my seatbelt real tight. '220!' KNS! To think I had to hide behind lorries and vans when driving on expressway.
That pretty much ended my day.
Sighz, we all love our friends dun we? So do we support them because we want to or becoz we have to. Not lending our support makes us less than a friend? Doesnt really make sense huh but has been bugging me for quite a while. Arhhh..
5am and I'm super hungry. Gonna be a long and fun day tmL! tadah!

Goodness me. I'm so mentally drained already. I've been facing the comp for almost 13 hours today.
It took me a bloody 6 hours to re-edit my resume and cover letter. Sent out 2 resumes today. Hope they respond man!
Showed my friend my resume and she said it sucks. NO WONDER NOBODY WANNA CALL ME OK!
most of my friends have gotten a job, I know it's high time I should get one too. I know.I'm working on it already and I really am. So stop nagging.
Met up with maine 2 days ago and she looked so stressed up and worn out. After working for less than a month!
Am I gonna be like this once I start working? Hell no.
I'm quite interested actually, to see how I would react to stress and all the politics of the corporate world. I hope I will cope it well. I hope it wont bring me down. Nah, I won't allow it too.

KKK friend said he hates it when people assume the younger generation cannot write chinese words. So this kkk friend went through so much to prove to me he can write any chinese words thrown at him.
Alright, I admit. I'm impressed. That's why he said I should make a public apology to him. Humph!

2 achievements today.
1) I drove to chua chu kang. 2) I drove back home from chua chu kang.
CMON man! Give me a pat on my shoulder. Not an easy feat for csy ok when her attention span is best from bedoK to bedoK central.
But hmm, I'm not very sure abt the time taken tho. 1 hour from bedok to CCK. Is that Fast, Normal or Slow?.
I think it's quite normal. HOR? Would have been faster if I didn't drive behind the lorries. =D
But I'm still very lost when I'm at reverse gear. The feeling is very familiar. Oh yes, you know how it feels when you are struggling to write the first sentence of an essay? That's it.
It seems like the white matter and the gray matter of my brain are being entangled together. I asked Mother Chualie if she feels the same way and holy cow, she agreed with me. I'm normal.
Went for lunch with the 3 Chualies to celebrate her bdae and took some photos hoping Big Chualie would be jealous which I doubt so. She must be busy with her new TOY to even rmb it's Mother Chualie's birthday today. Sheesh.
I post this photo for only one reason. Just a gentle reminder to all 华人, Never stop writing Chinese otherwise you will end up drawing hearts trying to cover your mistakes.
I can read Chinese words fairly well so I thought writing Chinese words shouldn't be much of a problem as well. But just a simple card with simple words and I got stuck several times.
e.g
e.g. 漂亮 the 漂 dunno how to write. I attempted to write that and failed. That's why you see the heart out of nowhere followed by pretty pretty.
健康 and 赢 also got probz.
I bet you think I'm probably the most retarded person on earth now. You're wrong man. Try writing a paragraph of Chinese words. You will shock yourself and feel so shameful of yourself that you may end up painting your whole body white or black.
The thing is, you think you know how to write, but only when you start penning it down then you realise you forgot how to write.
Sorry cutest cher piggy mak, I've failed you. To think I was a Chinese rep during year 1. No wonder nobody remembers me as one. =(

I just received a weird,unknown call from this lady with a strong cheena accent asking for a 2min survey. I said ' no time' when actually I really have all the time in the world.
She pleaded me with a teh voice so i gave in 'why not'
Throughout the whole conversation, she kept emphasizing on her company's name. '你有记得我的公司名字吗? ' Then she answered her own question by repeating her company's name again.
With all the scams going around, one weird call and my defense meter is powered up.
Anyway she must be very pek cek with me also because I kept saying 我不明白你说什么. I really dun udst coz her accent is so strong. But my sensitive ears pricked up when I heard these words ' 报名' '优待' ' 好吗?' .
'No, 不好' with an ang moh slang was what I said.
She asked for my surname and I said 林. Asked for my given name and I said Vone. ( I took away an ' N' ) Asked for my Chinese name and I said 思义
So my name is 林思义.
Wahahaha. I hope my future job doesnt require me to do cold calls otherwise I will get my retribution.
I just googled the company name and it's located at Shenzhou, China. Just Weird.

Caught 1408 today.
I had quite high expectation for that show since it is based on Stephen King short story. But, let's just say it fell short of my expectation.
Not an awful show. But it's a little below average I think. It's the kind of movie whereby you step out of the cinema and you won't even wanna think about it anymore.Cheap Thrill lah.
Sorry lah friend for dragging you to watch it with me. cmon lah, it's not that bad. Mai KKK.

Drove back from airport just now.
Everything was fine before I reached the carpark.
I still can't squeeze the car into the freaking lot without my dad' help.
What the hell is wrong with me man. My spatial ability is almost zero when I'm at reverse gear. My mind always go blank when I have to steer the wheel.
' Am I supposed to turn left or right?' If I turn left, will the car go left or right?' ' Ok my right backside is gonna hit the wall. so should I turn left or right? ok, turn left. wait a min.... but i'm in reverse gear, turn left coorect meh?'
Allan Pease is right. The research abt ladies is right. Our spatial ability is supposedly to be weaker than guys. But mine is worse. I dun think I even have that ability in my brain.

'Better late than never'

Our first bbq dinner on 11/6/07 at the balcony of Bro Tan's humble abode. Weather is PURRFECT for bbq. I rmb I was so amazed when I looked at my watch. 835pm and it was still morning bright! =D
10/6/07- The Chua Family took a 5hrs train ride down south to a wonderful town -Zermatt. To prevent air pollution which could disfigure the town's lovely view of the Matterhorn, the entire town is a combustion-engine car free zone.
There, you see that red taxi? Cost us 30chf ( S$ 34) for a 5 mins ride! Even the sky so pretty.

Bro Tan and Jie got this superly well furnished apartment with a superb view of Matterhorn from the living room! My bedroom lagi better! Wake up and Matterhorn greets you a very good morning. =D Sobz, now I'm missing the place even more.

We finally stopped cam-whoring when bro tan reached. Poor him took the 5hrs train ride himself and he brought clouds along with him! If you realise from the previous photos, we had a clear view of Matterhorn as the backdrop but the moment Bro tan reached, Matterhorn kena covered! HAR!
We head for Klein Matterhorn the next day. Halfway up to Klein Matterhorn and we were already so high!! coz the view is chio man!! Imagine a range of mountains right in front of you with no obstructions at all. They look like a piece of music score with Matterhorn as the highest note. It's like nature singing out to you. Swee!

After drinking some super salty and expensive soup, we got on the cable car and head all the way up to Klein Matterhorn. Already superly cold when we were halfway up! Angels on cable car.

On the 3rd day at Zermatt. Lazy Small and Mother Chualie stayed in the apartment while the rest of us went for a small hike to town Zimultt.
Rebecca, the owner of the apartment told us the hike would be an easy and non-tiring one. So we went ahead forgetting that Rebecca has muscles on her thighs, arms, everywhere! Compared to flabby and thick-waist us, I almost wanted to take a short cut by jumping down the mountain halfway through the hike. But we were rewarded with awesome sceneries.

Never will I forget a place like this. The smell of the mountain and flowers ( occasionally the cow dung) , the sound of the cows and grass , the smiles of the friendly people. All these are deeply etched in my memory. I love zermatt!. =D
